Gematria is the ancient practice of coding numbers into words, by assigning numerical values to letters using ciphers. For example, the alphabetic order cipher where a = 1, b = 2, c = 3 etc… Adding up the numerical value for each letter will reveal a word’s gematria. Gematria = 74 (7+5+13+1+20+18+9+1)
